Low Medium High
Code Meaning Severity Common Symptom
DOR Wine Zone Door Open Alert Medium A regular soft beep cycles from the control panel for the wine zone only. The refrigerator zone door alarm continues to function normally and is silent unless its own door is left open. View E1 Wine Zone Door Sensor Malfunction Medium On an SBS unit each compartment has its own door switch. E1 produces a constant wine zone alarm even when the wine door is firmly closed; the refrigerator door alarm system continues to work normally. View E2 Secondary Wine Zone Air Sensor Fault Medium A two-zone Vinidor unit shows two wine temperatures on the InfoLight display. With E2 active, one wine zone shows the correct value while the other shows dashes, a frozen reading, or alternates between E2 and a value. View E7 Wine Zone Defrost Heater Fault Medium The wine zone temperature creeps upward as ice accumulates on the wine zone evaporator. The refrigerator and freezer zones continue to operate at their set points because they have their own defrost circuits. View E8 Wine Zone Defrost Timer Fault Medium E8 produces the same downstream symptom as E7: ice slowly accumulates on the wine zone evaporator and progressively blocks airflow. View F1 Wine Zone Temperature Sensor Fault High On an SBS or Vinidor unit, the InfoLight display shows multiple zones at once. F1 typically appears in the wine zone field while the refrigerator/freezer/other zones continue to show valid readings — a clear indicator that the fault is wine-zone-isolated. View F8 Cooling System Fault — Affects Multiple Zones High Unlike F1 (which is zone-isolated), F8 typically warms the wine zone AND the refrigerator zone of an SBS unit because they share a compressor. Both displays drift upward at similar rates. View TEMP SWING Wine Zone Temperature Instability Medium The wine zone target is set to a single value, but the actual reading swings across a wider range than the normal ±1°F tolerance. Other zones may continue to be stable. View
